Condition necessary for corrosion:-
1.Presence of air(oxygen)
2.Presence of water.
Prevention of corrosion:-
1.Coating with oils and grease.
2.Coating with paints.
3.By galvanisation.
4.By electroplating corrosion-resistant metals.
5. By alloying (example - stainless steel.)
